Elevator noise sources

1. Elevator machine room: The elevator machine room consists of three parts: control cabinet, traction machine, and speed limiter. Among them, the control cabinet (noise source: the sound of contactors generated during elevator start and stop) and the traction machine (noise source: 1. the sound and vibration noise generated during main engine start and stop, and 2. the electromagnetic low-frequency sound noise generated during elevator brake start, run, and stop) produce noise, The noise generated by the traction machine is mainly resonance noise generated by the load-bearing steel beams and wall structures of the traction machine shaft; According to the installation position of the elevator control box on the elevator construction drawings, the elevator control box is directly installed and fixed on the ground. Therefore, during the start and stop of the elevator, the vibration of the contactor, transformer current, and frequency converter fan will be transmitted to the top floor owner's room through the wall and ground structure, affecting the owner's rest during quiet times.

2. Elevator shaft: There are four guide rails inside the elevator shaft, and there are multiple guide rail brackets. When the elevator is running, the position of the guide rail brackets will produce noise, causing resonance noise.

Implementation goals for elevator noise reduction

During the construction of elevator noise, professional technical personnel are required to have a deep understanding of on-site elevator products in order to effectively carry out equipment noise reduction work; According to the National Standard of the People's Republic of China for Noise Emission from Social Living Environment GB2237-2008, the indoor noise emission limits (equivalent sound level) for fixed equipment for structural transmission in Class A and Class B rooms are 35 decibels for Class A and 30 decibels for Class B; Currently, very few project sites meet such conditions; Our company has dedicated noise reduction construction teams (three major teams) for such projects to address various noise impacts caused by on-site elevators; At the same time, cooperate with national testing units to issue national standard testing reports.
